PINSETTER MAINTENANCE PERSON

We are always looking for a few good people to work on our pinsetters at Oviedo Bowling Center. The perfect candidate must be an upbeat person with an outgoing personality; someone who can greet our customers with a smile. This position requires average mechanical aptitude, as well as the ability to reason out basic mechanical problems and make the necessary repairs. The Pinsetter Maintenance person will also be responsible for routine maintenance and cleaning of the pinsetters and related bowling equipment.
Additional responsibilities include the cleaning of the bowling center concourse tables, removal of trash from the building, and helping to maintain the general cleanliness of all customer areas.

Training in all aspects of this position is provided. Due to regulations involving the use of moving machinery, all candidates for this position must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

 

 

BIRTHDAY PARTY HOST

We are always looking for a few good people to host children's Birthday Parties at Oviedo Bowling Center. The perfect candidate must be an upbeat person with an outgoing personality; someone who can greet our customers with a smile. This is a great weekend job for teenagers who are looking for their first job experience. This position requires a person who likes working with children, and likes to have fun while they work. Specific duties include: general organization of the party, setup, check-in, hosting the actual party by serving the food and cake, supervising the party during the bowling portion on the lanes, and cleanup after the party. The Birthday Host should also be able to effectively handle multiple tasks at the same time. During interactions with our customers, the Birthday Host should be anticipating each guest's needs and offering Oviedo Bowling Center's services to meet those needs. All staff members in this position are expected to present a clean, tidy, and casual business appearance at all times. Additional responsibilities include the cleaning of the bowling center concourse tables and helping to maintain the general cleanliness of all customer areas.

 

 

COUNTER ATTENDANTS

We are always looking for a few good people to work at our Control Counter at Oviedo Bowling Center. The perfect candidate must be an upbeat person with an outgoing personality; someone who can greet our customers with a smile. This position requires a person who can operate a computer cash register, accurately handle cash, and make correct change. Individuals will also be responsible for answering phones, assigning lanes, renting shoes, collecting bowling fees from open and league bowlers, making reservations, and organizing the activities each day. The Counter Attendant should also be able to effectively handle multiple tasks at the same time. During interactions with our customers, the Counter Attendant should be looking for each customer's needs and selling/promoting Oviedo Bowling Center's services to meet those needs, which might include: league bowling, special events and merchandise. All staff members in this position are expected to present a clean, tidy, and casual business appearance at all times. Additional responsibilities include the cleaning of the bowling center concourse tables and helping to maintain the general cleanliness of all customer areas.

 

 

SNACK BAR AND LOUNGE ATTENDANT

We are always looking for a few good people for our combined Snack Bar & Lounge operation at Oviedo Bowling Center. The perfect candidate must be an upbeat person with an outgoing personality; someone who can greet our customers with a smile. This position requires are a person who can operate a computer cash register, accurately handle cash, and make correct change. The Snack Bar/Lounge Attendant is also responsible for accurately setting up a food operation for daily business, take orders for, cook, and serve a variety of grilled items, fried foods, and prepare sandwiches. In the lounge area, the Snack Bar/Lounge Attendant will be expected to responsibly serve liquor, wine, and draft and bottled beers. At the end of the shift, the Snack Bar/Lounge Attendant will be responsible for cleaning up the kitchen, Snack Bar counter, and Lounge areas. Additional responsibilities include the cleaning of the bowling center concourse area tables and portion control of food items. Candidates hired for this position will be trained in the proper and safe methods of serving food and alcohol, if they do not already have that training. All candidates must be of legal age to serve liquor, which is at least 18 years of age, and have prior work experience.
